- Only about the first 125 characters show before "more". Put the hook there.

Common questions
How long can an Instagram caption be?
2,200 characters (Meta developer docs). Only about the first 125 show before "more", based on Hootsuite testing; Meta doesn't publish that number.
How many hashtags can I use?
Up to 5 per post. Instagram cut the limit from 30 in December 2025 (Instagram Help Center).
Do emojis count toward the limit?
Yes. Meta doesn't say exactly how it counts them, so leave a little room if you're close to 2,200.
Is it really free?
Yes. You can use the AI tools 10 times an hour and 25 times a day in total, without signing up. The limit keeps them free for everyone.
Which AI writes this, and do you keep what I type?
It runs on a DeepSeek model through OpenRouter, sent only to providers that keep no copy and don't train on it. We don't store or log what you type. To enforce the free limit we keep a counter tied to a scrambled version of your IP address, and it's deleted within 2 days. Details are in our Privacy Policy.
