Time zones and scheduled times
When you schedule a post, the date and time you pick use the time zone of the device you're using.
How it works
- In New post, the date and time follow your computer's or phone's time zone.
- tenfeeds saves the exact moment you picked. The post goes out at that moment, even if your device's time zone changes later.
- Times under Posts are shown in the time zone of the device you're looking at.
An example
You're in New York and schedule a post for 9:00 AM. It goes out at 9:00 AM New York time. If you open tenfeeds later on a laptop set to London time, the post shows the London time for that same moment.
Traveling
If you're in a different time zone from your audience, work out what time it will be where you are, or switch your device to your audience's time zone before you schedule.
The Time zone setting
Settings has a Time zone field. Right now it doesn't change when your posts go out. Scheduled times follow the device you schedule from.
AI agents and the API
An agent or the API can suggest a time for a draft. Include a time zone offset, like 2026-11-03T09:00:00-05:00. The suggested time shows on the draft. You still pick the final time when you review it in New post. See How agent drafts work.
