Post to TikTok with tenfeeds
tenfeeds posts videos and photo posts to TikTok. You choose who can see each post and the other TikTok settings every time.
Status: not open yet. tenfeeds is waiting on TikTok. Your Accounts page shows if you can connect it. See Supported platforms.
Connect
In Accounts, pick TikTok and log in on TikTok's page. TikTok shows what tenfeeds asks for: your basic profile (name and picture) and permission to post. Keep both switched on. If one is off, tenfeeds can't post and asks you to connect again.
Account requirements
- New account? Post a few videos from the TikTok app first. TikTok often blocks app posts from brand-new accounts as spam. See New account? Warm it up first.
- When you pick a TikTok account in New post, tenfeeds asks TikTok whether the account can post right now. If TikTok says no, tenfeeds shows TikTok's reason and you can't post until it's fixed.
While TikTok reviews tenfeeds
Until TikTok finishes reviewing tenfeeds, TikTok only lets tenfeeds post to TikTok accounts that are set to private, and only you can see those posts. If your account is public, the post fails with a message that says so. To post during this time, make your account private in the TikTok app, pick Only me in tenfeeds, then tap Retry.
What you can post
- One video, or a photo post with up to 35 photos. Not both in the same post.
- TikTok needs a video or photos, so text-only posts aren't possible.
Settings you choose for every post
tenfeeds never picks these for you, and agents can't set any of them.
- Posting as: the TikTok name the post goes to, so you can check it's the right account.
- Who can see: Everyone, Friends, Followers or Only me. There's no default. The choices come from TikTok and can differ by account.
- Allow: turn Comments, Duet and Stitch on or off. They start off. Duet and Stitch are for videos only. If you turned one off in TikTok's own settings, it's greyed out here.
- Disclose content: turn on Promotes a brand if the post promotes yourself, a business or someone else. Then pick one or both:
- Your brand: you're promoting yourself or your own business. TikTok labels the post "Promotional content".
- Branded content: you're promoting someone else, like a paid partner. TikTok labels the post "Paid partnership". Branded content can't be private, so it isn't available with Only me.
- AI-generated: turn on Yes if the content was made or changed with AI. TikTok then labels it as AI-generated.
- Title: photo posts can have an optional title, up to 90 characters.
Music and branded content
Next to the post button, tenfeeds shows "By posting, you agree to TikTok's Music Usage Confirmation", with a link to it. If you turned on Branded content, it also links TikTok's Branded Content Policy. Read them before you post.
Processing
After you post, TikTok processes the video or photos. This can take a few minutes. You can close tenfeeds while it works. If TikTok hasn't finished after about 30 minutes, the post shows Check on the platform. Open TikTok and look for it before you tap Retry.
The View link opens the post when TikTok gives tenfeeds a public link. For private posts, or posts TikTok is still checking, it opens your profile instead.
Limits
- Caption: up to 2,200 characters.
- Videos: MP4 or MOV, up to 4 GB, 360 to 4,096 pixels on each side, 23 to 60 frames per second. TikTok sets the longest video each account can post, and tenfeeds tells you if yours is too long.
- Photos: up to 35 per post, up to 20 MB each and up to 1080 pixels on the long side. GIFs can't be used.
- Per day: TikTok limits how many posts apps can make each day. tenfeeds stops at 15 and waits at least 10 minutes between posts on the same account. See Posting limits.

- The privacy setting isn't available anymore: pick who can see it again and post again.
- tenfeeds has reached TikTok's daily limit on how many accounts can post: try again tomorrow.
- Too many uploads are waiting in the TikTok inbox: open the TikTok app, post or delete them, then try again.
