Post to Instagram with tenfeeds
tenfeeds posts photos, carousels, Reels and Stories to Instagram Business and Creator accounts.

Connect
In Accounts, pick Instagram under Add and log in with Instagram. On Instagram's screen, leave "Access and publish content" switched on. Without it, tenfeeds can't post. You don't need a Facebook Page.
Account requirements
- A Business or Creator account. Personal accounts can't post through apps. You can switch in the Instagram app.
- New account? Post from the Instagram app for about a week first. See New account? Warm it up first.
What you can post
- Post: one photo, or a carousel of up to 10 photos.
- Reel: one video, 3 seconds to 15 minutes. Reels are also shared to your feed.
- Story: one photo or one video. Story videos can be 3 to 60 seconds. Stories don't include your caption.
Instagram needs a photo or video, so text-only posts aren't possible. In tenfeeds, a carousel is photos only.
Settings
Post as picks the type. With photos, choose Post or Story. With a video, choose Reel or Story.
Limits
- Caption: up to 2,200 characters, 30 hashtags and 20 @mentions. tenfeeds shows a tip if you use more than 5 hashtags, because more can look like spam.
- Photos: JPEG, up to 8 MB each. tenfeeds turns your photos into JPEG when you upload them. Post and carousel photos must be between 4:5 (portrait) and 1.91:1 (landscape).
- Videos: MP4 or MOV. Reels up to 300 MB, Story videos up to 100 MB.
- Per day: Instagram limits how many posts apps can make each day. tenfeeds stops at 50 and waits at least 10 minutes between posts on the same account. See Posting limits.
Common errors
- Held back as possible spam: common with new accounts or several posts close together. Post once from the Instagram app, then try again here the next day.
- Instagram has restricted this account: open the Instagram app and finish any steps it shows, like confirming your birthday. Then tap Retry.
- Daily limit for posts from apps: try again tomorrow, or post that one from the Instagram app.
- Too tall or too wide: crop the photo to between 4:5 and 1.91:1.
- Instagram signed tenfeeds out: connect the account again. See Reconnect an account.
