Post to Threads with tenfeeds
tenfeeds posts text, photos, videos and carousels to Threads.

Connect
In Accounts, pick Threads and log in on Threads' page. Allow every permission. Without them, tenfeeds can't post.
Account requirements
- Your Threads profile runs on your Instagram account.
- New profile? Post a few times from the Threads app and give it about a week first. Warm up the Instagram account too. See New account? Warm it up first.
What you can post
- Text-only posts.
- One photo or one video.
- Carousels of up to 20 photos and videos.
Settings
- Who can reply: Everyone, Accounts you follow, Your followers, or Only people you mention. It starts on Everyone.
- Topic: optional, up to 50 characters, with no periods or &.
Limits
- Text: up to 500 characters. Each emoji counts as 2 to 4.
- Links: up to 5 in a post.
- Photos: JPEG or PNG, up to 8 MB, no longer than 10:1.
- Videos: MP4 or MOV, up to 5 minutes and 1 GB.
- Per day: 250 posts per 24 hours. tenfeeds waits at least 10 minutes between posts on the same profile. See Posting limits.
Common errors
- Held back as possible spam: post once from the Threads app, then try again here tomorrow.
- Threads, or the Instagram account it's linked to, is restricted: open the Instagram app, finish any steps it shows, then tap Retry.
- Daily limit for posts from apps: try again tomorrow, or post that one from the Threads app.
- Threads couldn't process the video: use MP4 with H.264 video and AAC audio, at 23 to 60 frames per second.
- Threads signed tenfeeds out: connect the profile again. See Reconnect an account.
