Post says posted but you can't see it
tenfeeds marks a post Posted when the platform confirms it. If you can't find it, one of these is usually why.
First, check the post in tenfeeds
- Open Posts → Posted and find the post. Each account shows its own status.
- View opens the post on the platform.
- Check on the platform means tenfeeds sent it but the platform didn't confirm it. It may be live. Look for it before you tap Retry, so it doesn't post twice.
- Waiting or Posting means it hasn't gone out yet. Posts to the same account are spaced a few minutes apart.
- Check the account name on the post. It may have gone to a different account than you meant.
TikTok
- TikTok processes and checks each post before it shows. This can take a few minutes, sometimes longer.
- If you picked Only me, Friends or Followers, other people may not see it.
- While TikTok is reviewing tenfeeds, posts from tenfeeds are private. See TikTok.
- The View link opens your profile when TikTok hasn't given tenfeeds a public link, for example for a private post.
YouTube
- YouTube keeps processing a video after the upload, so it may not play right away.
- Unlisted and private videos don't show on your channel to other people.
- YouTube can block a video after the upload, for example for a copyright claim. tenfeeds doesn't see this. Check YouTube Studio.
- Stories disappear after 24 hours.
- Reels show in the Reels tab and in your feed.
- Instagram can hold back posts from new accounts. See New account? Warm it up first.
Other platforms
- Facebook: posts go to the Page, not your personal profile.
- X: links were removed from the text, so search for the rest of the caption.
- Pinterest: the Pin is on the board you picked.
Deleted on the platform
If a post was deleted on the platform, by you or by the platform, tenfeeds still shows it as Posted. tenfeeds doesn't check posts again after they go out.
